Mission Statement
Lutheran Mission Association promotes mission activity among the congregations of The Lutheran Church -- Missouri Synod in Northern Minnesota. LMA promotes and maintains relations in a substantive "hands-on" way between LCMS members and confessional Lutheran missions around the world for their support in the work of bringing the Gospel to the world.

Our Work in Haiti
Lutheran Mission Association (LMA) works with the Evangelical Lutheran Church (ELCH), which is in altar and pulpit fellowship with the LCMS. Our work is primarily with the North District in Haiti, and with Rev. Eliona Bernard, the District President, President of Seminary, and President of the ELCH.
Annual Report
In 2023, LMA's expenditures were $40,300. Of this amount, $850 from undesignated donations was used for administrative costs. (These include the Fonkoze fees, bank fees, State of MN, etc.) All expenses incurred by those traveling to Haiti are borne by those traveling.
Lutheran Mission Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
